I want to thank you all for attending the parent/teacher conferences – as a team we will work together in your child’s journey of growing and learning. Also want to extend my thanks for sending your children to CGM!
It was so nice to be off for 2 weeks but glad to be back to see all these cheerful faces!
The kids enjoyed exploring the inside of a pumpkin but some found it gooey, mushy and smelly! They liked roasting the pumpkin seeds and again some liked its taste. Nature walk this month was cold, wet and very leafy. The children looked very cute in their Halloween costumes!
In the upcoming weeks, we will be learning about pilgrims, Native Americans and of course Thanksgiving, focusing on Europe and North America. We are going to have our Thanksgiving lunch on Tue, Nov.24th. Half-day kids can join us too. We will update you more on this in coming days. Please keep practicing zipping coats and washing hands.
Have a Very Happy and a Safe Thanksgiving!

Wed. Nov 18th: Mom’s night out

September Newsletter
Yay, we survived August!! Maple room is having super fun in school and I hope they are telling you the same! We are so glad to be back in routine. We learned all our inside and outside rules, we learned how to take care of ourselves, others and our materials. We learned to take care of our bird and animal friends and so decided to make a bird feeder from a re-cycled milk carton! We also talked about cleanliness, washing hands and staying healthy. We are taking full advantage of this beautiful weather and are doing activities outside. As it’s a little chilly outside in the morning, it would be a good idea to send a light jacket or a sweater with them. So nice to see full-day students getting into their lunch, nap/or work routines.
In September, we’ll be doing lots of activities involving apples. Thanks for bringing in healthy snack every day. I promise, September snack calendar will be better organized. Sorry for the confusion that happened in August.
If you are interested in volunteer opportunities, please let Ms. Brenda know and she’ll schedule you in our room. You can take some projects home with you too. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
