Daily Schedule

8:15-11:45 Work cycle (breaking at 8:30 for a 5-10 minute morning meditation where we say the pledge, do a brain gym activity, read a meditation and have a moment of silence)

Those that are lunch room monitors will leave at 11:15 to set tables for Primary.

11:30-12:45 Children go to lunch as they are ready and space is available.

12:45-1:30 Circle & Work time

1:30-2:30 Specials and Outside time

2:30-3:15 Green folders, Rocket Math & Group Reading, clean up time

Mondays- PE (walk to the field)

Tuesdays – Art

Wednesdays- Yoga/Music/PE/Spanish

Thursdays- Sign Language

Fridays- Library (cooking day in the morning)

Thanks to all for coming to the open house. Despite the weather, we had a wonderful turn out. It was great to see familiar faces and exciting to see and meet the new families that will be joining us this year.

Window Dressing

We are all getting excited for the new year to start! It’s hard to believe we will begin next week.

We are hoping we can get some parents to help “window dress” the school. We would like some volunteers to help with planting some trees or flowering bushes outside the school windows. It would be so nice for the children to look out their windows and see something beautiful. Please let us know soon if you would be able to help.

Hello familes!! It is August, school starts in 20 days! Don’t forget to join us Aug. 16th for Parent Orientation night.

I am looking for a photographer for the school photos, any ideas? We used Image4kids last year, was wanted to try something new. Maybe a photographer that would do natural poses in the playground?? Any suggestions you have would be great.

Also still looking for volunteers to help freshen up some materials with paint, and post a few on ebay for selling.

The new school year is fast approaching

Summer camp is going GREAT here at CGM, and the new year is fast approaching! If you haven’t signed your child up, you should soon, some of our classes are already full.

Parent Orientation Night will be August 16th at 7pm. We want to encourage all new and returning parents to come, there are some changes you should be aware of. Child care will be provided for your convenience.

An email will be coming to you soon with more details about the upcoming year.
