We are “snow” excited to be back in the Oak room to start a brand new year! The children came back ready to visit with friends and get to work.
Speaking of snow, we are currently studying the differences between the four seasons, and learning all about the continent of Antarctica. Next week be prepared to hear all about the lives and trials of the Arctic penguins. We will be starting a special unit all about our waddling friends!
It was great to see many of our families at the open house for the new Indiana Montessori Community School. We are very excited about this addition to our Montessori family and greatly anticipate it’s official opening! The school is located on Route 31 just south of Whiteland Road. The next open house will be held on March 1st.
Ever wonder why your child is spending so much time pouring, stringing beads and sweeping the floor at school? Well, our Practical Life walk thru on January 27th is your opportunity to find out just how important this area of the classroom and curriculum are to future success in language, math and overall self confidence. I hope you will join us for this enlightening exploration and discussion!
Have a relaxing weekend and enjoy time well spent with your amazing children!
