About CGM

Center Grove Montessori School is a preschool, kindergarten, and elementary program for children two and a half through twelve years and was founded by Indu Agnihotri in 2007. She has a bachelor’s degree in botany, chemistry, and zoology from India. She also has a degree in early education. After migrating from India in 1986, she received her Montessori certification from the American Montessori Society in 1988. After working with young children for 27 years, Indu started Center Grove Montessori.

The school has outgrown a couple of locations and recently moved to its current building at the end of 2018.  Conveniently located near the intersection of Smith Valley Road and State Road 135. The school sits among trees with a large back yard and plenty of room for playing and planting a nature garden secluded from both streets. The new building affords much more space for each lesson area that is safe, comfortable, and relaxing, with a dedicated before and after-school area.

Center Grove Montessori /Indu Agnihotri is an affiliate member of  The International Montessori Council and the North American Montessori Teachers’ Association (NAMTA).

The school operates Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
