About Center Grove Montessori
The school quickly outgrew their original location and in 2011, they moved to their current building, conveniently located near the intersection of Smith Valley Road and U.S. 135. Secluded from both streets, the school sits among trees with a high privacy fence and plenty of room for playing and planting a nature garden. The new building affords much more space for each lesson area that is safe, comfortable and relaxing, with a dedicated before- and after-school area. Center Grove Montessori /Indu Agnihotri is an affiliate member of the American Montessori Society, The International Montessori Council and the North American Montessori Teachers Association (known as Namta).
The school operates Monday through Friday, from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.
August 22 School starts for All students (Orientation week/half days) October 19 P/T Conferences: Half day for elementary, no school for primary November 24 Thanksgiving break December 22 Winter Break starts January 4 School resumes after winter break February 20 President’s day. No school March 29 P/T Conferences: Half day for elementary, no school for primary April 9 School resumes after spring break May 25 Last day of school. Half Day for All students. |

Center Grove Montessori School is a preschool, kindergarten and elementary program for children two and a half through twelve years and was founded by Indu Agnihotri in 2007. She has a bachelor’s degree in botany, chemistry, and zoology from India. She also has a degree in early education. After migrating from India in 1986, she received her Montessori certification from the American Montessori Society in 1988. After working with young children for 27 years, Indu started Center Grove Montessori.
Calendar for 2011-2012 School Year — The school year is in effect from August to May.
